Your child doesn’t have to be “good at basketball” to begin.

They can come to learn a skill, meet a teammate and try something new—close to home.

Registration is now open for Legacy North: BUILT in four communities. 🏀

SICAMOUS — starts October 13
Tuesdays, 5:45–7:00 p.m. · Parkview Elementary

TAPPEN — starts October 15
Thursdays, 5:45–7:00 p.m. · Carlin Elementary-Middle

ENDERBY — starts October 19
Mondays, 5:15–6:30 p.m. · M.V. Beattie Elementary

LUMBY — starts October 19
Mondays, 4:15–5:30 p.m. · JW Inglis Elementary

For boys and girls in Grades 5–8. Six coached sessions, a program shirt included, and no program fee. Beginners welcome.

A parent or guardian can register at www.legacynorthacademy.com—choose your town and complete the $0 checkout to reserve a place. Link in our Instagram bio too.

Each location is limited to the first 20 completed athlete registrations. Full schedules, including skipped weeks, are on the website.

Registration for BUILT will open in the coming days.

This is a brand-new program for Legacy North Academy and the first time we’ve been able to offer our full six-week skills series completely free in these communities.

BUILT is for boys and girls in Grades 5–8 and will run this fall in Enderby, Lumby, Falkland, Sicamous, and Tappen.

BUILT stands for:

Belong. Understand. Inspire. Lead. Thrive.

Basketball will lead the way, but the program is also about helping young people build confidence, resiliency, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging.

Registration will be first come, first served, with space for 20 participants in each community. We’ll share the dates, times, locations, and registration details shortly.

This doesn’t happen without amazing community support and some real small-town power. We’re grateful to everyone helping us remove the cost for families and create more opportunities for local youth.
