🍂 A Little Bittersweet… 🍦❤️
Tuesday, September 1st marks the last day of our summer hours. Starting Wednesday, September 2nd, our September hours will be:
🍦 Monday–Friday | 4:30–9:00 PM
🍦 Saturday & Sunday | 1:00–9:00 PM
The beginning of September is always a little bittersweet around here.
One of the things we love most about having a team made up largely of young people is getting to watch them grow. We get to know them, watch them gain confidence, learn new things, become leaders, make friends, and slowly figure out where life is going to take them.
And then, almost before we know it, September arrives and some of them are heading off to university or college.
We’re incredibly excited for Sadie and Rhyan as they head outside of Regina to begin this next chapter. We’re going to miss having them around, but we couldn’t be prouder of them and we can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. ❤️
Thankfully, some of our staff including Katie, Hanna, Kayleigh, Aubrey, Isla and Keira are heading to local post secondary schools and are sticking around, and we’re so grateful for that! And then we have our other staff who are heading back to high school or taking a gap year. We’re pretty lucky to have the team we do. 💕
There’s something special about a little ice cream shop being part of these young people’s lives for a chapter or two - and then getting to cheer them on as they head out into the world. 🥹❤️
