Canada Day Fish & Chips at my number one spot Peggy's Cove Food Factory. The pieces of fish are even bigger this year, they were already big enough, plus they will be offering both frozen and hand cut french fries in the very near future. Always super friendly staff and the owner is usually around making people happy and showing his appreciation for your support. 1pc is $17, and a 2pc is $23. Lots of outside seating, some with umbrellas for shade.

AMAZING SCONES, ( frozen butter biscuits ) credit Chef Michael Smith . These are simple and IMO the best biscuits you're going to make at home. Give this recipe a try, have children?, get them involved too.

Peelers in Lower Sackville is a must if you prefer a very light batter on FRESH Haddock. Home fries are also fantastic.... A very solid 9 out of 10 for me, great price, large portions and service with smiles.
My personal only 10 star location is still Peggy's Cove Food Factory as I prefer just a tiny bit more light batter on my fish for the crunch.
