Nestled in the tranquility of picturesque Genoa Bay, the Genoa Bay Café rewards guests with one of the most delightful dining experiences in the Cowichan Valley. Set against a backdrop of towering forested bluffs reflected in the calm waters of the bay, enjoy refreshing local and international beers and wines, as well as, delicious lunch and dinner favourites from the seaside deck or in the relaxe

d atmosphere of the dining room. Our menus provide a variety of choice and showcase the foods of Vancouver Island and the Pacific Northwest. We are proud to feature local seafood such as our Saltspring Island mussels, and seasonal specials such as fresh halibut. Favourite starters include our West Coast Seafood Chowder loaded with the bounty of our local waters, and a new Valley favourite, Genoa Bay Café's signature Calamari. For the main course our regular guests rave about our Cedar Plank Salmon and Slow Roasted Prime Rib, and of course, Halibut and Chips (our fries are hand-cut daily from fresh Kennebec potatoes!). What makes dining at the Genoa Bay Café so satisfying – besides the dramatic scenery, montage of docks, sailboats and yachts in the adjacent marina, and the welcoming friendly service – is the food’s perfect blend of contemporary imaginative cuisine elegantly presented, and hearty satisfying home cooking the Island is famous for.

Fresh flavours, seasonal favourites, and a few exciting new additions are waiting for you at Genoa Bay.

From a beautifully pan seared Island Farmhouse chicken supreme finished with a creamy sun-dried tomato goat cheese sauce, to sweet and spicy glazed pork belly served with garlic mashed potatoes and market vegetables, our chefs have been busy creating dishes that celebrate the flavours of the season!
