This project has contributed to accelerating & accentuating the vibrancy we all want & have worked years to achieve. With new shops, bars, and restaurants opening downtown, the area still needed a destination that is inviting to families, including our beloved pets! The Wurst BG is the friendliest dog friendly place in Acadiana. The Wurst Biergarten is a beverage catered park. It will serve as a multi-functional specialty event facility located in the heart of Downtown Lafayette adjacent and immediately accessible to the parking garage, Parc au Centre. The family-friendly biergarten & park will be Open Friday & Saturday Nites… 7p til Close. A 2500 sqft deck with lots of seating. The Wurst carries lots of local & regional craft draft beers plus a large selection of bottled/canned craft beers, ciders, wines, hard selter/kombucha and all of the popular domestic/imported beers and many sodas/non-alcoholic options. With its synergistic hybrid sustainable business model, the Wurst Biergarten has brought vibrancy and new life to the downtown area for locals and visitors, as well as provide a beautiful space to give back to the community. The site has focused on supporting and hosting non-profit fundraising events, in addition to promoting the creative arts and bringing friends and families together.
