There’s something about Digby that makes you want to keep driving just a little farther. 🌊🚗

Take the road you haven’t taken. Pull over when the view gets too good to pass up. Wander down the trail just to see where it goes.

Around here, some of the best parts of the day aren’t really planned at all.

From quiet stretches of coastline and hidden lookoffs to those Bay of Fundy views that somehow never get old, there’s a lot of beauty packed into our little corner of Nova Scotia. ⚓

But sooner or later, you're going to have to deal with the local requirements. 😂🌊

Around here, that means a plate piled with golden Digby scallops and crispy fried clams. No paperwork necessary. Just bring an appetite.

It's the kind of meal that feels right after a day spent driving the coast, exploring somewhere new, or simply enjoying the place we're lucky enough to call home.

One thing about Digby: a “quick drive” has a funny way of turning into a whole afternoon. 😂🌊

You take the long way, catch a glimpse of the Bay of Fundy, pull over because “that looks nice”… and suddenly you've found another little corner of the coast you didn't know you needed.

Sometimes the best parts of Digby aren't really destinations at all. They're the quiet roads, unexpected views, and hidden spots you find along the way.

So this week, we're prescribing a little coastal wandering.

Sometimes taking the long way is the whole point. 🌊

You know those drives where you leave with somewhere in mind… then a view catches your eye, you make an unplanned stop, and suddenly getting there isn't quite so important?

That's one of our favourite things about exploring around Digby.

There’s always another stretch of coastline, little community, harbour, or view worth slowing down for—and usually a good reason to arrive home a little later than planned. ❤️

So take the long way. Pull over for the view. See where the coast takes you.

⚓ **FROM THE GALLEY: Meat Lasagna**

Some days call for seafood. Others call for a bubbling dish of meat lasagna covered in melted cheese… and we’re not here to argue with either. 😏

Our Galley Special is all about good old-fashioned comfort: hearty meat lasagna, rich tomato sauce, plenty of melted cheese, and golden garlic bread on the side to make sure none of that sauce gets left behind.

Warm, filling, and exactly the kind of meal that makes you consider cancelling whatever you had planned after lunch.

Ever notice how fresh air somehow makes you twice as hungry? 🤔

Take a stroll, soak in the scenery, breathe in that Bay of Fundy air... and somehow, by the time you're heading back, seafood sounds like the best idea you've had all day.
