***COMEDY FEST UPDATE***
UPDATE: Great Outdoors Comedy Festival / Trixstar - Over $28,000 Still Unpaid
A few weeks ago, we made a public post regarding the outstanding payment owed to us by Great Outdoors Comedy Festival / Trixstar.
Unfortunately, we’re back with an update, and it’s not the one we were hoping to share.
As of today, we are still owed over $28,000, and we have received absolutely ZERO answers or meaningful communication from the company regarding the situation.
No resolution. No clear explanation. No timeline for payment. Nothing.
At this point, the frustration has gone well beyond the money itself. It’s the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic professional courtesy.
We understand that complications can happen in business. What we don’t understand is how a company can leave a small business waiting on more than $28,000 and provide absolutely no answers as to when, or even how, the situation will be resolved.
Ignoring the situation doesn’t make the money owed disappear.
We have bills to pay, expenses to cover, and commitments to uphold, just like every other business. Unfortunately, we don’t have the luxury of simply ignoring those responsibilities.
We’ve tried to remain patient and professional throughout this process, but that patience is wearing extremely thin.
We never wanted to be in a position where publicly addressing this situation became necessary, let alone having to do it a second time. But when private attempts to get answers lead nowhere, what other options are we left with?
To everyone who reached out, shared our original post, or offered support, we genuinely appreciate it.
We aren’t looking for special treatment. We’re looking for accountability, communication, and payment for work and services that have already been completed.
Great Outdoors Comedy Festival / Trixstar, it’s time to address this.
$28,000+ owed. Weeks later. Still no answers.
