While things are on hold, I’m hoping to find a way to stay busy and use the skills I love sharing with others.

If there are any seniors’ homes, community groups, volunteer organizations, or anyone who could use some help with cooking, preparing meals, or just an extra set of hands, I would truly love the opportunity to help, completely free of charge.

Cooking has always been a big part of who I am, and being able to bring a little comfort and kindness to people during this difficult time would mean so much to me.

If you know of somewhere that could use my help, please send me a message. I’d be grateful for the chance to give back to our community while I wait for things to get back to normal.

Unfortunately, Merry’s Bistro will be closed until further notice due to significant flooding in our basement.

We are so sorry that we aren’t able to reopen as planned after our short break. This isn’t the update we were hoping to share, but the safety of our staff and customers comes first. We’ll be working as quickly as we can to get everything cleaned up and repaired so we can welcome you back as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support, it truly means the world to our small team.
In the meantime, we’re thinking of everyone else affected by the flooding and hope you’re all staying safe. ❤️

Fresh, homemade meals available all week!

🍽️ Hot food service begins at 11:00 AM and is available until sold out, so be sure to stop by early for the best selection.

📦 Need meals for the office, family, or a busy week ahead? We accept pre-orders of 4 meals or more, which can be reserved the day before pickup.

☀️ Friendly Reminder: We will be closed next week for a short summer break and will reopen on Monday, July 6 with our summer hours. Be sure to stop in this week to grab your favourites before we’re away!

💙 A Little Break, A Stronger Return 💙

Since opening our doors, our small team has poured our hearts into Merry’s Bistro every single day. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support from this community, and we’re incredibly grateful for every coffee, meal, kind word, and smiling face.

To give our team a chance to rest, recharge, and spend some time with family and friends, Merry’s Bistro will be CLOSED from June 29th to July 3rd.

We’ll be back on Monday, July 6th, refreshed and ready for a great summer season ahead!

☀️ Summer Hours Beginning July 6th
📍 Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Thursday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

As always, we’ll continue offering pre-orders and catering when we return. If you have an upcoming meeting, event, family gathering, or special occasion, feel free to reach out and book in advance, we’d love to help.

Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your continued support. Taking this short break will allow us to come back energized and ready to serve you even better.

We’re excited to officially offer both catering and pre-orders at Merry’s Bistro! 🎉

🍽️ Catering
Perfect for office lunches, meetings, staff appreciation events, parties, and special gatherings. Catering orders require approximately 1–2 weeks’ notice and include a personalized planning process where we’ll work with you to create a menu that fits your event, budget, and guests. We offer both full-size catering in aluminum pans and individual portions in takeout containers. Delivery may be available depending on the order and location. Please note that we do not provide serving staff, warmers, or on-site service (yet!).

📦 Pre-Orders (4 Meals or More)
Need a quick and easy group meal? Once our weekly menu is released, you can place a pre-order for 4 or more meals for the same day. Pre-orders are limited to the items available on that week’s menu and are a great option for workplaces, teams, or small gatherings.

Summer dates are already beginning to fill up, so don’t wait to reach out!
