The Latin series are back this Sunday, April 13 at Alderney Landing. We're thrilled to have Fusion with us sharing their great Parisien jazz vibes. After this amazing performance we will follow a LATIN music jam so bring your drums, shakers, guitar and let's jam along some amazing Latin tunes in Español, Português, Italiano, Français or any other Latin languages you would like to showcase. Come join us tomorrow for some amazing pan-Celtic tunes with Colin Jeffrey and Marcel Amores at Alderney Landing Cultural Center! Find us at the Artisan market at 12:30!!

Colin Jeffrey is an accomplished fiddler player from the gentle island of PEI. He is well versed with the traditional Scottish, Irish and Canadian traditional celtic music and has also made his strings fly through the beautiful Asturian and Galician Spanish tunes.

Marcel Nazabal Amores will be wearing his Celtic hat performing Northern Spain (Galicia & Asturias) music.

Last hour will be open to friends wanting to share some songs and tunes with us.

Our first edition of the Halifax Latin Jams was a great success! What a great crew of talented musicians joined to make the rest of the afternoon after an amazing performance of our one and only Murleta Williams!!

Let me shoot out a big thanks to Jaime Hernán Espinoza Muñoz and his wonderful wife Angelica!! -her name certainly represents her voice!
My Nigerian brother Ifo Ikede bringing the deeps of the beats and señorita Diana Cardoso and her hand percussion!!

We had our multi-talented Sylvie Marie surprising us with some Spanish tunes and having the crowd singing!

And no least, we could hear you very well Wilma Needham, your magic Brazilian percussions on the back!! Next time we will get you on stage!!

Thank you everyone and our regular followers for coming and enjoying this wonderful afternoon! The Latin Series family is growing!

Big thanks again to Alderney Landing as always for providing this community inclusive and friendly venue!!
