When we built The Donut Man, we hid a few things under the till.

To honor the 2002 Salt lake city Olympics, where Canadian ice maker buried a loonie at center ice and both the Men's and Weomens hockey teams brought the Gold medals home. The Donut Man's big brother brought a 2020 coin collection in. We buried it right under the counter under the till, for good luck.

Our family that helped in one way or another build the store all signed right next next to the till.

We didn't tell a single soul about these easter eggs. Until yesterday, when our staff saw us digging them up.

During our first week opening, big sis Blackwell aka Auntie Debbie, had a co-worker come in. Mega's cultural tradition is to give money to be placed in the till of a new business and never removed. This is for prosperity. She blessed us with a $20 bill. We tapped it to the bottom of the till. It still remains there today.

We are fully moved out of the OG location. We are organizing and prepping the New location. We promise updates and news on when we will reopen. It is looking like closer to the end of September.

Time is counting down. We are in our last 2 days of business at the OG DONUT MAN.
It's first come first serve. No orders. We are open until 6pm on the 28th and 7am to 8pm the 29th.

Attention, as we close out the month and our final week at our original shop we have de made to close at 6pm this week. Families are starting to prep for school and we get few visitors after dinner this close to school as routines set in. So to help us prepare for the relocation, we are taking a few extra hours each day.

Saturday the 29th we will remain open until 8pm. We hope to see you this week.

We will be closed for a few weeks as we finish setting up down the block. Please keep an eye out, follow us, turn on Notifications. We will announce when our opening day will be. Hopefully mid to late September.

Come help us lock the doors for one final time as we prepare to move to our new location.
August 29th is our final day at 1202.

In September we will re-open down the street at 1220 Railway steet (date to be announced).

Before we lock the doors we may have a few giveaways, depending on stock. No promises. I thought free small slushes, but turns out that will run out by this weekend.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I know we are tired of this already too.

Trust me though it is going to be soooo worth it. Bigger space, new amzing look, new improved and larger menu, same homemade donuts. Same amazing staff.

Remember to keep an eye out for our reopening. We will unfortunately be closed for a few weeks as we transition.

As the next two weeks at our original location come to a close, we can't help but think back on the amazing staff that have walked through this door. We have grown to love them like family. That goes for customers too. Watching families grow, being a part of weddings, birthdays, graduation and even final good byes.

We have several weddings in the next few weeks and are doing our best to keep shelves stocked. I'm not going to lie, some produ t is running out. As many of you know, sausage rolls. We won't be making any more until we re-open. Next up is cinnamon buns. Our coke cooler and bakery cooler ha e been down most of the summer. Lets face it, the store ghost is telling us to get out. We are out of some fillings too, so if you have e a special request we not not be able to fill it. We just aren't placing the orders until we move and are set up. We appreciate your understanding.

Most of all we appreciate your support. We will be open August 29 from 7am until 8pm and then we close 1202 Railway Street forever.

1220 Railway will open HOPEFULLY mid September. We will keep you posted. We will shout it everywhere. Just 5 doors down and we are so excited to welcome you to our bigger, brighter, and more exciting New Donut Man.
