UPDATE – August 3

We've been doing a lot of thinking behind the scenes.

With the uncertainty around wildfire season and fire restrictions, we've decided to adjust our opening menu so we can hopefully get open sooner rather than waiting on conditions we can't control.

Our focus is still the same—serving quality, scratch-made food we're proud of. While the smokers may have to wait, our passion for great food hasn't changed.

We're hopeful these changes will allow us to open our doors soon and finally start serving the community.

BBQ is, and always will be, the heart of Black Vault BBQ & Smokery. This is simply a way to get our doors open while we wait for the opportunity to bring live-fire cooking back.

We can't wait to serve you!

Black Vault BBQ & Smokery is looking to rent/lease a commercial storefront.

Requirements:

- 500–1,000 sq. ft.
- Deli or retail-style storefront preferred
- Bathroom required
- Rear door or rear access
- Suitable for food service

Please Note: No cooking will take place on-site. All food will be prepared and smoked at our approved smokehouse, then transported to the storefront. The space will only require a commercial warming oven for hot holding and service.

A secure outdoor compound or fenced yard with room to park our food truck would be a huge bonus.

If you have a suitable space available or know of one, please send me a message with the location and details.

This pains us to say...

📢 Black Vault BBQ & Smokery Update
Due to our food truck being temporarily out of service, we are unable to accept new catering bookings at this time.

Rather than commit to events and risk not being able to deliver the service our customers deserve, we've made the difficult decision to pause bookings until we have a confirmed operating solution in place.

We appreciate everyone's patience and support and will provide updates as soon as we have them.

Talk about bad luck...

After less than 500 km, our engine has decided it's done. We're beyond frustrated, but we're determined to get back on the road and open!

If anyone has a rebuilt or low-mileage LS engine available and ready to drop in the food truck, please reach out. We need to get operational again ASAP.
