Eight years ago, we unlocked the doors to a renovated fire station and hoped for the best.

We had a few original burgers.
A few original beers.
A lot of opinions.
And no idea what the heck we were doing.

Since then, we've poured thousands of pints, served countless burgers, met strangers who became regulars, and added a few chapters of our own to this old building's story.

So next Saturday, June 13, we're bringing it all back.

The beers people still talk about.
The burgers people still ask for.

Tear into a 6th Sense, Mustache Ride, Mr. Bodangles, FHN, Swine Blue, or Black Garlic Club.
Wash it down with a Naughty Hildegard, High Country Kölsch, Blue Buck, Craft Lager, or Trash Panda.

Stories, laughs, a microphone we'll probably regret handing Paul, and a room full of the people who made all of this possible.

Come help us celebrate eight years of pints, friendship, and somehow getting away with this.

And if you were ever part of the team that got us here—from the OG crew to the current one—we'd love to buy you a round.

Menu items available all day. Toast at 8:00PM.

Happy Birthday, Fire Hall.
What a ride.

About our taps: Fire Hall Kitchen & Tap has TWENTY taps featuring the best and sometimes worst (hey, they can’t all be winners!) craft beers from around the province. We have 6 core beers and 14 rotators that change by the keg. If you find a favourite beer on the rotating side, you might want to make a dent in that keg, as once it’s gone we’re onto the next.

We love craft beer. We love our town. We love sharing good times with you. Cheers.

Hot dawg, Cranbrook.
You emptied two Mt. Begbie kegs in less than 24 hours and gave the other three quite a scare at last week's Tap Takeover.
If you've never been to a Fire Hall Tap Takeover, here's the deal. A few times a year, we hand the taps over to one of our favourite breweries. Our chefs build a one-night-only pairing menu around the beers, the brewery crew comes to town, and for a few hours on a Thursday, a regular night at the pub turns into something a little special.
Last week, Mt. Begbie rolled in with five beers and a truckload of good stories. The chefs did what they always do on Tap Takeover nights and started treating the menu like a science experiment. Paul poured roughly one million pints, and a whole lot of people stayed longer than they planned to.
Big thanks to Darryn and the Mt. Begbie team, to our chefs for leaning into the fun, and to everyone who packed the room.
These nights are some of our favourites. Apparently yours too, because they tend to book out.
So next time you see those three magic letters — TTO — give us a call and grab a table.
Which brewery should we invite next? Tag them below and we'll see what Paul can do.

We heard restaurants that serve Coke are busier than restaurants that serve Pepsi.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Just to be safe, we smothered our fried chicken in a Coca-Cola BBQ sauce.

Oh, and we put it on our new house-made sourdough. Because if you’re going to do something, do it well.

The Coca-Cola Fried Chicken Sandwich. Done well.

New summer menu. New reasons to fight over the last chip.
Poke Nachos:
Yellowfin tuna poke, thin sliced radish, snap peas, mirin & serrano cured pineapple, toasted almond, crispy wonton chips, and green peach salsa.
Light. Fresh. Crunchy. Gone suspiciously fast.

You’ve gotta be a little crazy to do what we do. Truth is, you’ll never make it if you don’t love it.

We all need these reminders sometimes.

Go see your people.
Go for a walk.
Call your mother.
Join a club.
Ask out your cute co-worker.
And yes, go for beers with the boys.

Turns out a booth, a couple pints, and a long conversation can fix quite a bit.
