The train runs every ½ hour.
The first train is at 4:00 and the last is at 9:00.

For those wanting to know……
Christmas Express tickets go on sale November 2nd.

We’ve added nights & a 4th car to the Shay #1 steam locomotive to carry an additional 400 people per night for both events!!!

Pick a couple of different night choices you would like & times when you go to purchase as they sell quickly. Please note: there are no refunds.

Important Travel Update: Pack Your Patience! Upcoming Road Construction on Cowichan Bay Rd

Heads up to our guests! Milestone Equipment Contracting is commencing a water-main replacement project near our property on Cowichan Bay Rd. Please pack your patience and allow a little extra time for your travels!

Suggested Route: To make your arrival smoother until late October, we recommend entering Cowichan Bay village from the south side.

Project Timeline: Work begins September 8th and is anticipated to wrap up in mid-November.

Working Hours: Active construction takes place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Traffic Impacts: Expect single-lane alternating traffic along Cowichan Bay Rd between Wessex Rd and Wilmot Rd during working hours, leading to temporary delays.

Safety First: Cyclists and pedestrians will be accommodated through the construction area. Please follow all directions from traffic control personnel and signs.
