The man, the myth, the legend. If you've been to the Phat Parrot for lunch a few times, or a local pub😂, you've probably met Norton! Without this guy, it is hard to imagine we would have even half of the amazing customers that we do. Norty absolutely loves to talk about his business, hand out his cards, and talk about how proud he is of what his family has done to elevate our food truck. Let's just say he loves to talk in general😂.

We just want to give a HUGE shout out too ALL the moms out there, working so hard everyday! Thank you to any of you who came by to get food today so far, we hope we made your mothers day a bit better!

But a very special shout out goes out to "Mama Parrot", the heart and soul of this business and inarguibly the HARDEST worker we've ever met. Without mom, we would never be where we are today. She might just be the best mom we've ever had😂

The Phat Smash. We've had a lot of you trying out the Smash patties on our recipe burgers and you have all said its a great change, and adds a totally different flavor! We agree, so we are going to keep them as an option permanently. We may run out from time to time because we are still trying to find our balance of how much we need per day, but if we do run out we will restock as soon as possible!

You guys asked, and we've delivered. SMASH BURGERS! We did an event with Smith Lake Farm and Comox Valley Collective yesterday, and we featured some of Smith Lake Farms local beef, in the form of a smash burger. People enjoyed them so much that we decided to get an extra 10lbs so all of you can give it a try as well! The first picture is the Honey Mustard Jalapeno Smash (made with honey from SL farm as well) and the 2nd photo is the BBQ Smash Deluxe. Both are going for $17 and will be available for a limited time. Come by and give them a shot, highly recommend!

Also, if you would like to sub out the Smash patties on our regular burgers, we can absolutely do that as well!!
