This is a public callout for candidates here in Newfoundland - Long Range Mountains to support the campaign to end Canada’s ongoing support of e*hnic c*eansing.
Palestinian civilians are being bombed and m*rdered in volumes not seen since WWII, and Canada is supporting the perpetrators.
Here in Newfoundland, we often bring up our historical ties to Ireland 🇮🇪 We maintain traditions, ballads, culture—even dialect!— from those who settled here in the 18th century. And Ireland is no stranger to fighting for its right to exist. That’s why, in 2024, they recognized Palestine as a sovereign and independent state.
It follows that Newfoundland should be one of the ~loudest~ voices in the fight to protect Palestinians and recognize Palestine as an independent state. Such a designation would apply much needed pressure to the IDF—who are actively targeting, bombing, and ex*cuting civilians and aid workers.
Gooseneck Coffee Cart does not endorse any one political party. However, this is the list of frontrunner candidates in our riding (Long Range Mountains), and who among them pledges to adopt ’s platform:

We would love to see more NL candidates join over one hundred candidates (NDPs, Liberals, and Greens) across the country in supporting Vote Palestine’s campaign.
