Happy Canada Day!

Definitely a very busy month for me but it was exciting to get back out there making pizzas.

June was finished off with 4 events in 5 days..

Busy little week with lots of updates, so most important first!

10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday for Strawberry Days

My delegation to council was successful and beginning 4 July I will be using my trailer at the . This is a pilot project until the end of the Market season, but I'm really excited to be able to create more consistency, update some menu and ordering processes and never worry about weather on a Market morning again.

and yes -- I will have cannoli this weekend, they were gone in the first 45 minutes at Wine and Ale last night!

The fire was red hot at Northumberland Hills Hospital Staff Appreciation Party tonight! Its kind of crazy - this was my 5th year doing it. Year #1 was 45 pizzas and this year we averaged one pizza per minute for the first 75 minutes!

Lets Pizza!

Looks like a great Saturday is on the way for the Cobourg Farmers Market | Northumberland County, ON so come down to the oval 8am-1pm.

It's crazy - this week marks a year since being able to do a public event because of the fire, and almost two years because of my summer on the beach.

So I decided to submit a delegation to council over how the Refreshment Vehicle License is being applied at the Cobourg Farmers' Market and for Council to re-instate the exemption as a Community Event, alongside a few other minor fixes. Really not asking for anything egregious, just the ability to make pizza at the Farmers Market without that being the -only- place in Cobourg I can operate.

Attention to detail matters and when things are being missed like spelling the County of Northumberland wrong on the website and having an approved Zoning Map that refers to Food Trucks instead of Refreshment Vehicles there needs to be better oversight than just me.

I've also included the set fines for failure to comply.

Sunday slaps! Are my hands on beat?

This is a dough I made Friday night. 62% hydration, 15% L*D for the nerds. 12 hour room temp, then because I wasnt able to get down to the this went into the fridge for 24 hours.

This dough was still a little cold so the Neapolitan Slap took longer than normal - my goal is always 5 minutes from receiving an order to handing over a pizza.
