It's a free for all!
It's Thursday...that means there's a ton of action at Clifford Takeout!
Cars zipping in and zipping out of the parking spots loaded with fresh produce, frozen meals and fresh baking!..oh...and the odd pizza goes out too 😇
Stop by check out the fresh produce...and say Hi to your neighbour who is here doing the same thing!

Well that was a shocker! 😮
If you haven't heard, Clifford Snack Shack is closing down.
Nick and Courtney and the whole Palmer clan have been a fixture downtown for the last few years.
They will be missed.
But we can't let that business go.
Not without a fight anyway.
It's undergone a few ownership and names changes since Bambina's first opened up..what...30 years ago?
It's too important to summers in Clifford to let it go.
Locals love it and so do travelers.
They loved the Redwood and Kettles too....and they're gone.
Clifford was known as a place to eat on the way to or from fun camping/cottage/beach experiences.
We can't lose that.
So we're going to do what we can to keep it going.
It may have a new name or a new menu...we don't know yet. There's a lot up in the air.
But we are certain that we need staff to make it work.
We'll need at least 1 person on the grill and a second on the counter/cash to deal with customers. We might need a third person to scoop ice cream and clean up.
We'd probably need two people at each position...unless someone is hungry for hours.
So if you're interested in a position please reach out...

It's a HULLABALOO!🤣
It's Thursday and it's all happening at Clifford Takeout!
People and picking up their produce boxes, grabbing first dibs on fresh baking and checking out what's new in the frozen foods freezer!
And carrying on 3 conversations at the same time ;)
There's lots of GREEN in the produce boxes this week...local lettuce and spinach plus crunchy celery and lettuce.
Dave from Fresh Start swung by with some nice breads, english muffins, cookies and sweets...
Tammy from Home Grown delivered fresh fruit pies and butter tarts and topped up the meat pies and soups in the freezer.
Carolyn even did some baking...fresh cookies anyone? 😋

Fun! Fun! Fun!
Thursdays are fun at Clifford Takeout!
The hustle and bustle is invigorating!
Everyone gathers to pick up their produce boxes, people are streaming in and out, chatter off to the side when friends meet, people commenting on the great selection of baked goods or the freshness of the produce in the fridge....
Fridges and freezers are full of pies, frozen meals, pickled eggs, cheese...lots of other goodies.
The smell of pizza greets you as you walk in.
The restaurant is packed....
It's just a fun place to be! 🙂
