Well that was a shocker! 😮
If you haven't heard, Clifford Snack Shack is closing down.
Nick and Courtney and the whole Palmer clan have been a fixture downtown for the last few years.
They will be missed.
But we can't let that business go.
Not without a fight anyway.
It's undergone a few ownership and names changes since Bambina's first opened up..what...30 years ago?
It's too important to summers in Clifford to let it go.
Locals love it and so do travelers.
They loved the Redwood and Kettles too....and they're gone.
Clifford was known as a place to eat on the way to or from fun camping/cottage/beach experiences.
We can't lose that.
So we're going to do what we can to keep it going.
It may have a new name or a new menu...we don't know yet. There's a lot up in the air.
But we are certain that we need staff to make it work.
We'll need at least 1 person on the grill and a second on the counter/cash to deal with customers. We might need a third person to scoop ice cream and clean up.
We'd probably need two people at each position...unless someone is hungry for hours.
