What a treat to be one of the recipients of proceeds raised by this years Claresholm Community Haunted House. Such a fantastic event. The props and effects are the absolute best! Outstanding!! A haunted house is just a haunted house until you a add a great group of actors and then it becomes a haunted family. The passion everyone put into this event is beyond impressive. So much fun to be there.

We have had a busy month as we transition to our new way to bring hampers to the community. Thank you Claresholm IGA for being supportive during this transition and continuing to contribute to food insecurity in our community. We are also excited to be in partnership with Sparta House Claresholm as a hub for our rescued food allowing us to also support their members. And thank you the the Claresholm Social Center for giving us the use of their parking lot to hand out food hampers when we bring them to town. Team work makes the dream work!

Today we spotlight World Mental Health Day. A day to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and let others know they are not alone. Open dialogue and compassion are key to supporting others. A simple 'how are you doing?' can open a much needed conversation for someone.

We are grateful to be chosen as one of this years recipients of funds raised by the Community Haunted House. This has been such a fun and exciting event previously for kids of all ages. Volunteers are still needed as a lot of work goes into making things spooky. Please help if you can!

We are so excited for our newest project to get set up!! We are planning our grand opening for November 1st! 🎁 Plan to stop by and celebrate this new venture with Sparta house and all our members!

At our boutique, you will see a variety of items from gifts to housewares to lots of mental wellness items! So many of our items will be handmade right in house at Sparta by our very own members! They are all so excited to welcome you into our space to see everything we do and help break down the stigma around mental illness.
