Update: Last week we reached out to our Roll & Reel community about a couple children who needed help.
In total we received enough money to offer 30 weeks of FREE kids camp to children/parents who needed it. With 6 weeks left of camp starting Monday, we were able to offer 5 children full time positions to finish out the summer. How amazing is that?!
In turn, this alleviated the stress of some struggling parents who were trying their best to hold down a job and not have to worry about child care. Each case we felt were definitely deserving of this, and if you or someone you know in the future are really struggling, reach out to us. We will do what we can to help.
