Bridging Hearts is happening again on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, hosted by the Stó:lō Nation . It's a day of remembrance at Coqualeetza Grounds on September 30, from 10 AM to 2 PM, with Indigenous guest speakers, cultural performances, local Indigenous vendors and food trucks. We're sharing it so more people know about it. Allies are welcome and encouraged to attend, and orange shirts are encouraged.

Sidekick Brewing is located on the unceded, traditional homelands of the Soowahlie First Nation and the Ts’elxwéyeqw people of the Stó:lō (“People of the River”). We honour their ongoing stewardship and sovereignty and commit to meaningful, Indigenous-led relationship and accountability.

We're still learning. We know one day on the calendar isn't enough, and that understanding comes from listening to the people whose home this is, and from showing up again and again. We'd like to point you toward Mémiyelhtel .in.stolo, a youth mentorship program strengthening cultural identity and resilience for Stó:lō youth. Their work is worth supporting, and the donation link is in our bio.
