The Cottage in the Castle with CHEK News has me feeling so grateful. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who helped bring this dream to life—especially my Dad and Mom, Cynthia, the rest of my family, my hair clients, my friends, and everyone who has been part of this home’s story: its previous owners, the Japanese family who built the place back in 1910, Virginia who renovated it in the ’90s, and Harriet who sold the place to me. I’m proud of my Wet’suwet’en First Nations heritage and my roots in central B.C., and it means so much to bring that part of who I am into this next chapter. It’s pretty cool to look around and realize how far I’ve come. Thank you for being part of it.
