After 27 years in business, Raymond and Bonnie of Bonnie Martin Restaurant are finally retiring, leaving the business's legacy to new owners.
Raymond and Bonnie opened the restaurant in November 1998 to support their family. They never would have thought they would be part of such a wonderful community.
Thank you to all the members of the community who have supported us over the years.
Thank you to those who have stuck with us from day one. Whether you were among our first customers or helped us put up the restaurant by staining the wall panels, we could not have done it without you.
Thank you to the customers who have stuck with us for so long. Many of you have watched Martin and Naomi (Raymond and Bonnieβs children) grow up, from little children trying to help where they can, to adults graduating from university and moving on to bigger and better things. While you have watched their children grow up, we have watched the community's children grow. Some of you have been coming to the restaurant as little children, and today you still come back, but this time bringing your own children along.
Thank you to everyone who is new or has just discovered us. While you may not have as much history with us, you have still been an integral part of making the last few years so enjoyable.
Thank you to all the customers who we have unfortunately lost over the years: Al and Maggie Johnson, Scott, Dale, Jane, Jack and Cathy, Carl, Andy, Ernie, Martin and Toba, Myrtle, Bob, Al, Julia, Sylvia and Carl, Roy, Dot and Les, Florance, Frank, Geoff, Orville, John, and so many more not named, but not forgotten.
Lastly, thank you to all the staff, both past and present. Raymond and Bonnie truly could not have made it 27 years without your hard work and dedication.
