Our annual staff appreciation dinner will be this Thursday Aug 27, we will be closing at 4pm that day in order to accommodate our staff. We know you appreciate them as much as we do!

Fun fact: We are using NEW potatoes now! Did you know that freshly picked potatoes are loaded with sugar and that the longer they sit, the sugar turns into starch? SO when we put those sugary potatoes into our fryers, it caramelizes on the outside of the potato… If you notice our fries looking “burnt” pleaseeee know that we know, We can’t do anything about it, and they are just as delicious as always!!!

Flour in their hair, the work begun.
By donation, no fixed demand,
Just open palms and a steady hand.

Bills and coins in a mason jar,
Neighbors giving what they are.
By dusk the numbers quietly rise:
A pantry fills, a hunger subsides.

TOMORROW!!!!!! We will be hosting our wonderful change makers for our THIRD “Bake Sale by Donation” at the shack!!!

We’ll have smartie cookies and more 🍪

It’s bake sale by donation day!!!! These two will be here until 4 with their baked goodies! Proceeds will go to their local food bank 🙂
