Thank you Chase, & Area, Blind Bay, North Shuswap, Kamloops and Salmon Arm enthusiasts. Our “Cars for a Cause “ raised $4886.75 with the funds going to support Guide Dogs for people in need. Best in show - Car: went to Ken & Renee Howe of Revelstoke in a 68 Beaumont Conv.
2nd to Donna Smith Bradley with a 65 Mustang Conv
Best in show - Truck: went to Mike Doll of Blind Bay in a 68 chev C10
2nd place to Andy Micalcheon in a 67 Sweptline
Best in Show - Tuner: went to Stephanie Moniuk in an 01 Subaru Forestor
2nd place was Gabe Gervasi in a 93 Mazda RX7
People Choice award went to Lorne Sampson with his 69 GMC pick up
The winner of the pedal car raffle was Harry Woolford of Langley.

Please remember that tomorrow morning thru until about 3pm Shuswap Ave between Pine St and Chase street will be closed. Chase Public works assured us that 2 way traffic is possible on 1st street, but it is sketchy, and there will be no flaggers provided, I was told. I recommend using Mason Street to Cottonwood, Then Cedar St to Coburn St.

Sorry folks we will be closing early today by 5pm.
We have a lot of preparation to do for the Car Show tomorrow. Please come out tomorrow and support us and the Chase Lions the sponsors of this wonderful local event. We will be making bacon and eggers in the morning for early birds at the request from last year, and Taco salads at the request of our loyal customers. See you tomorrow
