Lawson, a native of Lincolnshire, England began his career operating a small fish and chip trailer that he hauled around England and Scotland, frying up delicious homemade chips and fresh caught fish. When he decided to move his family to Canada he brought his recipes and experience with him. For four years he served up the most delicious fish and chips on Prince Edward Island before deciding to s

ell the business to his long time cook. The traditions and methods learned under the guidance of Mr. Lawson prevail to this day and we will continue to serve up the best fish and chips that PEI has to offer. We hold a high standard to the fish we use, therefore we know that the closer the fish is caught, the quicker we can get it to the table. Our fish is sourced from Victoria, PEI and from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Our suppliers practice sustainable fishing to ensure a low impact on our beautiful and bountiful coastal water habitats. Our potatoes are grown on PEI's south shore in China Point by Francis Murphy and his family. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr. Murphy and have never been disappointed the quality of potatoes he provides to us. They cook up beautifully, brown and crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. All of our meat products are provided by MacQuarries Meats who source from the finest farmers in Queens County, PEI. All the beef is grass fed, making for tender and healthy meat. Should you have any other questions about our ingredients, please don't hesitate to ask us. In addition, we are one of the few restaurants to offer gluten free fish and chips as well as other gluten free dishes, and we are recommended by the Celiac Society of PEI. So if you have a gluten free diet, please come in for a meal, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for reading, and we hope to see you soon.
