A very special day for Tea & Tales. 🤍

We are truly honoured to receive a 2026 City of Charlottetown Heritage Award in our very first season.

Tea & Tales began with a desire to bring Esther Lowden’s story back into the light a remarkable Victorian woman whose strength, independence and entrepreneurial spirit deserved to be remembered.

From Esther’s story, Tea & Tales grew into something much bigger: a way to bring the history of The Haviland Club to life through storytelling, afternoon tea, and the stories held within this remarkable house.

Our heartfelt thanks to the City of Charlottetown for this meaningful recognition, to The Haviland Club for opening its doors to our vision, to our wonderful Tea & Tales team, and to the local partners who supported us along the way.

And to every guest who has sat around our tea tables, listened to these stories and helped us keep them alive, thank you.

A little bit of Texas came to Tea & Tales! 🤍

We had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful private group from Texas, visiting Prince Edward Island aboard the Zuiderdam.

They stepped ashore for an afternoon filled with Victorian charm, beautiful tea, delicious treats and stories from The Haviland Club. It was such a joy to be part of their Island experience and to send them back to the ship with warm memories of Charlottetown.

Tea & Tales private sessions can be arranged for cruise groups, celebrations and special gatherings.
