EDIT: I was pleasantly surprised when one of the parents contacted me last night. They admitted that their children may have been involved in Pierre’s incident, agreed it was a teaching moment for their kids and made a donation towards Pierre’s repair. A definite win from a sad situation! We have great customers!

Our big pickle is an original piece of folk art by William Roach. Pierre has a fence around him because he is fragile. It was very disappointing today to find his hand on the ground after several families with boisterous children left. No one said anything about the damage and clearly his boundaries were not respected. We welcome everyone but we do expect folks to respect our space and fixtures and properly minding kiddos is part of that.
