38 YEARS OF LOVE, FAMILY, AND HARD WORK!

Thirty-eight years ago, Paul and Linda Larkin officially took over the reins at Chez Yvonne’s.

When Paul’s parents, Roland and Yvonne, first built this restaurant, they set out to create a welcoming, family-friendly staple for locals and visitors in Cavendish. When Paul and Linda stepped into their shoes nearly four decades ago, they didn't just keep that vision alive—they poured their whole hearts into growing it.

For 38 years, Paul and Linda have been the ultimate team. They have guided the restaurant through so many eras and changes—including the unforgettable days when the legendary Shoreline Bar was rocking downstairs!

From mastering the kitchen line, to greeting generations of families at the door with a warm smile, and through many renovations, they have truly made Chez Yvonne’s a home away from home. Today, you can still find them working tirelessly alongside our incredible staff to ensure every guest experiences that classic Island comfort.

🌅🍂Our updated hours take effect on August 31st, 2026. With our doors open until 8:00 PM every night of the week, you have plenty of time to stretch out those fading summer sunsets and welcome the crisp autumn air with great food and drink.

Our Schedule Starting August 31st:

Monday to Friday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

A 58-Year Sunday Tradition at Chez Yvonne’s!

Ever wonder why the Roast Turkey Dinner at Chez Yvonne’s Restaurant tastes so good? It all comes down to a beautiful family story. 🦃

Decades ago, founders Roland and Yvonne started serving hearty comfort food to the North Shore. To ensure they always served the absolute best quality poultry, the family started their very own turkey farm in the rolling hills of New Glasgow. Today, that farm is known as Larkin Farms, owned and operated by Harvey and Rosemary Larkin!

Because of that unbreakable family bond, Chez Yvonne’s still gets its premium turkey straight from Harvey and Rosemary's farm.

You can enjoy a Hot Turkey Sandwich or a Turkey Burger every day of the week, but the real magic happens every Sunday afternoon. That is when we serve our legendary, full Traditional Roast Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Everything is made completely from scratch. It's just like Sunday dinner at Grandma's house - but without the clean up.
