Back in March, we welcomed spring with our very first tasting menu, and thanks to all of you, it was such a memorable evening that we decided to do it again.
On June 20th, we'll be celebrating the arrival of summer with another one-night-only, five-course tasting menu inspired by long evenings, fresh flavours, and the best of the season.
First Day of Summer Tasting Menu:
Course One
Ceviche - Chef's selection of fresh fish, citrus-cured and layered with notes of citrus and fresh herbs, served with plantain chips.
Paired with Rust Gamay Rosé
Course Two
Yak Flatbread - small-farm BC-raised yak, slow-braised and served on housemade flatbread with caramelized onions, chive crème and microgreens.
Paired with Summerhill Baco Noir
Course Three
Blackened Mahi Mahi with Mango Salsa - expertly seared mahi mahi finished with a vibrant mango salsa of ripe fruit, fresh herbs, and citrus, served with a warm farro salad.
Paired with La Frenz Vivant
Course Four
Barbecue Beef Rib - slow-braised natural beef back ribs lathered in housemade barbecue sauce, served with warm potato salad and a medley of summer vegetables.
Paired with Rainmaker Meritage
Course Five
Strawberry Shortcake - vanilla sponge cake layered with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Paired with Bei Momenti Reggiano Lambrusco
