Meet Jan, who joined the Canmore Pasta team in late 2025!

As a former small business owner himself, Jan was looking for something flexible that would leave plenty of time for Monday ski days in the winter and hiking adventures in the summer.

Jan loves getting out into the community and sharing the Canmore Pasta story, so we knew he’d be the perfect fit for our Thursday market days. You’ll often find him chatting with customers, answering questions, and helping people discover their new favourite pasta.

Beautiful squid ink pappardelle ribbons with tomatoes, shrimp, capers & lemon, served with a fresh fennel salad. Light, vibrant, and absolutely delicious.

An unforgettable evening of pasta, passion, and collaboration 🍝✨

We were thrilled to partner with Banff for an intimate culinary experience that brought together incredible flavors, thoughtful storytelling, and a whole lot of fun.

Guests enjoyed a carefully curated menu featuring:
Mussels on toast, crispy arancini, beef carpaccio, Cacio e Pepe, giant-format Ravioli with braised lamb, delicate Fazzoletti with lobster & shrimp, and a dreamy tiramisu to finish — all paired with beautiful wines 🍷

Throughout the evening, Chef Joseph shared his inspiration behind the menu, along with his appreciation for both the Canmore Pasta product and the people behind it. Todd from Canmore Pasta also guided guests through the different pasta shapes, sharing insights into how each is crafted — adding a truly personal and educational touch to the experience.

As one guest shared:
“It was a fun night—Chef Joseph shared the story behind the menu and his appreciation for Canmore Pasta, both the product and the people behind it. There was so much food (we’re having lamb leftovers tonight 😜), and we even went home with special treats like sauce, olive oil, olives, and Canmore Pasta. Truly a special experience!”
