DAY 2 OF OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ❤️

A whirlwind, in the very best possible way!

22° sunshine, clear blue skies, and a lineup for most of the day.

It all started around 10 AM when both of our families arrived and took over the juice bar!

We were so lucky to have so many special people stop by.

Local skier superstars, past and current employees, families of past employees, best friends from high school, longtime customers, and so many people visiting Canmore.

We were completely wiped out of our anniversary treats by 3:30 PM! 😳

A huge thank you to Kake by Darci, Middle Sisters Kitchen and Mary’s Popcorn — everything was a hit!

Our Enter to Win contest was also a huge success.

Close to 250 entries for our amazing prize baskets, generously donated by local businesses in Canmore and Banff.

If you entered, keep an eye on your email or phone — our MJC team will be contacting the lucky winners in the next couple of days!

But more than anything, this weekend was about the people.

Having ALL of our families here meant more to us than we can put into words.

We celebrated friendships that have lasted 25 years or longer, along with so many amazing people we’ve met along the way who have become part of the MJC family. ❤️

After two very full and very fun days, we are a bit tired, on a complete high, and feeling incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing community.

And if you’re wondering if everything still looked picture perfect by the end… definitely not! 😂

The balloons were a little deflated, the store was looking a little less than perfect, and we were running on adrenaline. 🚀

But honestly, we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

We’re still receiving photos from friends who joined us, so we may have a few more special memories to share over the next few days.

And yes, we’ll be sharing the lucky winners of our prize baskets too.

DAY 1 OF OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ❤️

What a day!

We had such a great time celebrating 25 years of Mountain Juice Cafe today.

So many very special people stopped by — longtime local friends, families of past employees, former employees, and so many amazing customers, both old and new.

Seeing so many familiar faces and sharing the day with our community meant so much to us.
We feel truly grateful and blessed to have been part of this amazing community for the past 25 years. ❤️

A special thank you to KAKE by Darci for the scrumptious cupcakes, Middle Sisters Kitchen and Mary’s Popcorn for the delicious treats.

They were a huge hit and flew out the door! We truly appreciate you helping us make the day extra special.

And a huge THANK YOU to all of the local businesses and people who generously donated to our celebration. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

And we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow for DAY 2!

FACES BEHIND THE COUNTER at MJC ❤️

Swipe through to see some fav pics that we still have.

For 25 years, there have been so many faces behind the counter at Mountain Juice Cafe blending up your favourite smoothies, pressing your favourite fruits and veggies, and creating fresh deliciousness in every cup.

Most of them have been kids from the very beginning.

We’ve watched teenagers come through our doors for their very first summer job, grow up, head off to university or college, come home for the summer and come right back to MJC.

Some stayed for one summer. Others returned year after year, becoming familiar faces to our customers and a big part of our MJC family.

One of our team members, Jay, worked with us for 10 summers in a row. How lucky can you get. ❤️

Over the years, we’ve been asked so many times, “Are you family?” “Are these your children?”

Let me tell you, it has definitely felt like family.

We’ve watched so many local Canmore kids grow up behind that counter, and the best part is that many still come through our doors today.

They stop in for a visit, catch us up on their lives and stay connected long after their days at MJC are over.

There have been busy summer rushes, endless smoothies, lots of laughs & so many friendships made.

These are just some of the faces who have helped make Mountain Juice Cafe what it is today. And there are many more who aren’t in these photos.

Back then, we didn’t take pictures of everything. There was no social media, just cameras, memories and the people behind the counter.

25 years, so many memories, one MJC. ❤️

25 YEARS OF SMOOTHIES, MEMORIES & FRIENDS ❤️

For 25 years, so many people have walked through our doors and so many of you have become part of our story.

We’ve watched little kids grow up coming in for smoothies, gotten to know generations of families, welcomed visitors who made Mountain Juice Cafe part of their Canmore tradition, and had regulars who have been coming in for so many years that we know their order before they even say it.

Behind every face is a story. A friendship. A favourite order. A quick stop that became a daily habit. A family tradition. A memory that stayed with us.

And honestly, this is what 25 years is really about.

It’s not just the smoothies, the fresh-pressed juice or the café.

It’s the people.

You’ve supported us, cheered us on, sent your friends and family our way, and continued to come back year after year.

When we opened our doors in 2001, we could never have imagined how many wonderful people would become part of the Mountain Juice Cafe story.

To every customer who has ever walked through our doors, thank you. ❤️

MEET MARK ❤️

If you’ve been around Mountain Juice Cafe, there’s a pretty good chance you know Mark.

Mark is a huge part of the Mountain Juice’s story.

He’s been coming in for a smoothie since the very first day we opened our doors 25 years ago.

And he still comes in today. In fact, he rarely misses a day!

A retired local business owner of Bella Crusta + Bella Dolce , Mark has become so much more than a customer.

He’s a special friend and a pretty important part of our daily routine. 😊

A visit with Mark usually means catching up on what’s happening around town, the latest local news and, of course, plenty of sports talk.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had such great friends and customers in our corner for the past 25 years.

Mark, you’ve been there from the beginning, and we’re so grateful for all the smoothies, conversations, laughs and friendship along the way.

Here are just a few we managed to get pictures with including Billy Corgan, lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins, Kim Coates from Sons of Anarchy, and NHL hockey player Andrew Ference.

And there are plenty more we didn’t get photos of.

Matthew McConaughey and his family, Julia Stiles, Robert Duvall, Marc Messier and Gerard Butler have all stopped in over the years.

The funny thing is, when a famous face is standing right in front of you, asking for a picture is usually the last thing you think about! 😂

You’re just trying to act completely normal while thinking… “Is that really who I think it is?”
