An Update on Our Temporary Closure

We wanted to provide an update to our guests regarding our temporary closure. Unfortunately, due to ongoing kitchen staffing shortages, we remain closed until further notice.

An important part of our efforts to reopen is finding the right people to lead our kitchen. We are currently looking for an experienced Executive Chef and welcome applications from qualified candidates. If you or someone you know may be interested in joining our team, please send a resume to [email protected].

We sincerely appreciate the many kind messages and words of support we've received since announcing our closure. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and will share further updates as soon as we have them.

Temporarily Closed

We wanted to let our guests know that, due to a temporary kitchen staffing shortage, we will be closed until further notice, with the closure expected to last at least the next two weeks.

We are currently looking for a new kitchen team and are working hard to put the right people in place so we can reopen and provide the experience our guests know and expect from us.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as possible and will share reopening updates as soon as we have them.

Fall 2026 Hours

What a wonderful summer it’s been on the harbour! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who dined with us, supported us, and helped make another busy season so memorable.

With fall arriving, we’re shifting to our seasonal hours. Join us Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

And there’s more to come! We’re already looking ahead to December, with holiday parties and additional opening nights in the works. That means even more chances to join us for a special holiday meal or a post shopping dinner. Stay tuned for all the details!

Dave Blinzinger, native of St. Louis, Missouri, performs across Canada and has toured Europe and the United States. A gradute of VIU (Vancouver Island University), Dave has a firm concept of music from liturature, harmony, phrasing, melody and form. While styled mostly in jazz, Dave regularily is called on to play many styles in the demanding professional world of music. Mostly his interests lie in Jazz, Traditional, Experimental, Spiritual, Electronica, Hip-hop and Ethnic based music with a strong background in improvisation.

Warm holiday wishes from the Harbour Grill!

As the Christmas lights go up across Campbell River and the holiday rush gets underway, we want to extend our deepest thanks for being part of our year. December is a special season for us, full of celebrations, returning guests, and the glow of our dining room on chilly nights. To help you plan your visits, we’ve put together a holiday schedule. Just a heads-up that we’ll be closed for a private event on December 19th, and a few dates follow adjusted hours.

And for those hoping to share the Harbour Grill experience with someone special, we’ll have team members available on December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th from 2–5pm to help you pick up our gift certificates.

We’ll be taking Christmas Day off to celebrate with loved ones, but our doors will reopen on Boxing Day, ready to welcome you back.

On New Year’s Eve, we’ll add a little extra sparkle to our regular dinner service with live music and seasonal cheer. Since this evening fills up quickly, reservations are a good idea.

Our regular hours return January 2nd, with our usual Thursday to Sunday service throughout January.
