Right now we're running food truck style — you walk up, order at the truck, and grab your food right there. Simple and quick.
Down the road, we're working toward a sit-down model: order inside, grab a table number, and we'll bring the food out to you. We've got seating both inside and out on the patio, plus washrooms on site — so whether you want to grab and go or settle in for a while, we've got you covered.
For now, come find us at the truck — we're not going anywhere. 😊

Smoked low and slow, then sliced and heated up right before it hits the bun. That little sizzle when it hits the flat top is one of our favourite sound in the kitchen. Piled high onto a toasted brioche bun with bbq sauce and our homemade creamy slaw 🤩

We've been smoking as fast as we can keep up, but we're temporarily out of pulled pork, bacon bombs, and chicken wings until next week. We'd rather tell you straight up than have you show up disappointed!

We're hiring! 🔥 Salt Lick BBQ is looking for a part-time prep/line cook to join our team.
What you'll be doing: prepping for food service, keeping stations stocked, and working the line during service, and generally keeping things moving when it gets busy.
What we're looking for:
-Kitchen experience required
-Someone who can move fast and stay calm during a rush
-mainly Friday to Sunday but flexible
-Reliable, team-oriented, takes pride in the work

Part-time hours, $20/hour plus tips starting wage, Wood-smoked BBQ, small team, good vibes.

Tomorrow: 11am–7pm. Everything's a go except brisket, which won't be ready until around 4:30pm — so if brisket's your thing, plan around that. Everything else on the menu is ready to roll from open.

IT'S HAPPENING — WE OPEN TOMORROW. 🔥🐖
Salt Lick BBQ is soft-opening tomorrow! The smokers are running, the sauce is dialed in, and Campbell River is finally getting real wood-smoked BBQ.
We're starting with a limited menu as we find our rhythm — but come hungry, come patient, come say hi.
