L A Franks A family owned, seasonal outdoor eatery with access to the Grand River and walking paths. The seating area is completely outdoors.

Franks will continue to follow any recommended public health measures in the upcoming season. We will also report bylaw infractions with the hope of keeping Mill Race Park a place where people feel safe and welcome. We are a small, family run business that focuses on hard work, consistency and staff empowerment. Our menu is simple, old fashioned burger fare with chicken, pork and vegetarian optio

ns. "For here, or to go?" means are you eating in the park and plan to return our non-disposable tray, OR are you walking or driving away. We will pack your order in a cardboard box. If you are looking for some local activities near Franks, Southworks Antique Mall is right across the street, the walking path along the river makes a loop over the foot bridge near Firestone, along Grand Ave to the bridge on Park Hill and back to Franks, or why not ride your bike from Kitchener or Paris on the path networks. We will be closed for the May long weekend and then open every other day until the last Sunday in September.

The staff of LA Frank's proudly announce they are donating their tips from the Canada Day weekend to the Sean Jensen Memorial Scholarship given each year at the Southwood Secondary School commencement. This year, the scholarship will be given June 16 to a deserving student. The funds raised this year will fund 2027 and beyond. The criteria is not highest grades or most active in the school community but rather someone who has faced a challenge in their life and continued to be kind, encouraging and helpful to others.
Come support the kids in their efforts to keep Sean's memory alive. Even if you don't want to visit for a snack, drop by and say hi. We already received a donation last Friday!! All donations are accepted with gratitude and fellowship.

We are overwhelmed with the attention our little robbery has received! Media. Customers new and old (xoxoxo). Facebook comments, either in support or marking me as criminal for daring to say that people on the streets took product from our shed. I can’t keep up with it all while still trying to operate the business. Please do not be offended if I don’t message you back.
