The women behind Phê.

A little behind the scenes from our photoshoot, dressed in our traditional Vietnamese áo dài.

There’s a quiet strength in wearing the áo dài. It carries so much history and meaning, a reflection of Vietnamese identity, femininity, grace, and tradition.

For us, it’s a reminder of our parents and grandparents, and of the generations before us who carried these traditions forward.

Wearing the áo dài is one small way for us to honour our roots and keep our culture alive.

A huge thank you to Vietnamese Village Festival and Calgary Vietnamese Women’s Association for inviting us to be part of the Vietnamese Folk Art Workshop!

We had so much fun learning more about our Vietnamese culture and the beautiful traditions behind Vietnamese folk art.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, we hope you enjoyed our coffee as much as we enjoyed sharing it with you.

We can’t wait for the next one!
