Since 1997, Clay Oven Restaurant has been proudly offering customers with home cooked authentic Indian Cuisine. Family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation truly inspire us to keep the tradition of delicious, freshly cooked Indian food alive! We hope in addition to our exceptional food, our great service and a homely environment will keep our customers satisfied and coming back for more. We also offer our customers with catering services for any type or size of event.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our fellow Calgarians for allowing us to serve you for 28 years. It is truly a remarkable accomplishment for an independent restaurant. We couldn't have achieved this without the unwavering support of our patrons and the dedicated efforts of our staff throughout the years.

Unfortunately, our business has not been able to fully recover since the COVID-19 pandemic. Rising food and operating costs, intense competition, and a shift in customer dining habits have made it very challenging to stay afloat. We have decided to permanently close with our last day being Dec 31st 2025.

To all our valued customers with gift certificates, we kindly request that you use them by the end of December. Thank you everyone for the kind words and support over the past nearly 3 decades and we would love to see you come by one last time!
