🌭 The Dog Days Festival may be over, but what a run it was!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by Grumans to try our Reuben Dog and support a great cause. Together, we sold 95 Reuben Dogs, with proceeds donated directly to PALS through the participating restaurants.

We loved seeing so many of you give this delicious deli-inspired creation a try, and we're thrilled to say it was such a hit that we'll definitely be bringing it back as a featured special in the future.

Thank you for helping us support PALS and for making Dog Days such a success. ❤️

Today would have been our parents' 74th wedding anniversary. Many of you knew them simply as Bubby & Zaidy.

Bubby & Zaidy built a legacy of love, family, tradition, great food, and community that continues to inspire us every day.

We know they're together somewhere celebrating in style today.

Here's to 74 years of love and the legacy they left behind. ❤️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting Harriet Morris, granddaughter of Ben Kravitz, founder of the legendary Ben’s Deli in Montreal. Harriet was visiting from Toronto and stopped by to see the historic Ben’s photos we have hanging in the restaurant, including one featuring her uncle cutting smoked meat.

During her visit, she shared family stories and the history connected to one of Montreal’s most iconic delis.

For a place like Grumans, where Montreal deli tradition is part of who we are, moments like this mean a lot. Food has a way of connecting generations, preserving stories, and keeping traditions alive.

Thank you, Harriet, for sharing a little piece of your family history with us. What an incredible experience.

Heads up, Grummies! A quick update for next week.

From April 13–17, building repairs will be taking place at Britannia Crossing, which will impact parking and access.

Here’s what you need to know:
• The alley will be closed daily from 8AM–4PM
• No surface parking will be available during this time
• Parkade access is still open via the residential alley off 50th Ave
• Evening and early morning access (4PM–8AM) will be easier for deliveries and entry

We’ll be open as usual and ready to feed you!
