🫖✨ The nerves are starting to kick in! ✨🫖

We’re so excited to be part of The Calgary Tea Festival this October — and I’ve just remembered I’ve been asked to present! 😳☕

Now, here’s the thing… I’m not a tea expert. 🙈 I don’t have a fancy tea degree or decades of studying tea leaves under my belt.

What I do have is a genuine love for bringing people together around a beautiful table, sharing good food, pouring a lovely cup of tea, and celebrating all the little moments that make life special. ❤️

After attending Practical Magic 2 - again. I’ve had tea magic on the brain. And naturally, my thoughts wandered back to our Victorian Witches Tea Party. 🔮🌙

There’s just something about gathering around a table with beautiful vintage china, steaming cups of tea, delicious treats, candlelight, and a little bit of imagination that feels… well… magical. ✨

So now I’m wondering:

If you could brew a magical cup of tea, what would you want it to do? 🫖🔮

Would it…

✨ Make your to-do list disappear?
✨ Give you a hand with the everyday chores?
✨ Summon your favourite people for an afternoon together?

🎂🫖 Tomorrow is my Birthday ❤️

Birthdays have recently started to make me a little reflective, and this year especially.

When I took over The Travelling Teacups, I knew I loved tea, vintage china, and creating beautiful moments for people. What I didn’t realize was just how much this little business would become a part of my heart.

There have been exciting days, challenging days, moments of doubt, and plenty of “how am I going to get all of this done?” days. 😂

But then there are those moments when I walk into a finished tea party, see the table beautifully set, and remember exactly why I do this.

Because it’s not really about the teacups.

It’s about the people gathered around them. The celebrations, the laughter, the memories, and the special moments I get to be a small part of. 🥹❤️

To my family, friends, clients, and everyone who has supported, encouraged, booked, shared, or cheered me on—thank you. You’ve become part of my story, and I’m so grateful.

This year, I’m going to slow down, pour myself a cup of tea, eat some cake, and be thankful for this beautiful, unexpected journey.

Here’s to another year. 🥂🎂🫖❤️

🫖✨ Sometimes, simple really is best.

We talk a LOT around here about flavourful tea blends—fruity, floral, spicy, sweet, seasonal… and I absolutely love discovering what each blend brings to the teacup. 🍎🌸✨

But sometimes?

Give me a good, simple Earl Grey and I’m perfectly happy. ❤️

No complicated flavour profile. No fancy ingredients. Just a beautifully balanced black tea with its signature bergamot notes letting the tea itself do the talking.

And honestly, isn’t that part of the magic of tea? It doesn’t always need to be an elaborate experience. Sometimes it’s your favourite mug, a quiet moment, and a steaming cup of something familiar. 🫖☕️

While the seasonal flavours get a lot of attention, there’s something wonderfully comforting about keeping it classic. 🍂

Chewy oatmeal, warm chai spices and that dreamy buttercream sweetness… basically everything I love about fall baked into one little bite. 🥰☕️
