Good Earth was born in Calgary in 1991. Supporting the Canadian business ecosystem is an important part of how we operate. Today, 70% of our purchases are made from Canadian companies, including 100% of our coffee, dairy and cheese, eggs, tea, meat and custom baked goods. A further 15% of our purchases are sourced from European companies, some of which have significant production facilities in Canada.

We are fortunate to have partnered with outstanding Canadian companies, like Reunion Coffee, Pluck Tea and Earth’s Own, rooted in values we share. And we want to keep going. We’re continuing to review our supply chain and identify opportunities to work with more Canadian companies, while maintaining the quality and consistency our coffeehouses and guests expect.

We believe in building community, even when it’s the whole country. Let’s do good together, Canada!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our Foodista Lyuda Kostrova early this morning. We are all devastated by the news and while many of you likely rarely saw or knew her, you likely enjoyed the fruits of her labour. She was not only a valued member of Good Earth's family for many years, she was well-loved by everyone. It was much fun to see if we could get a smile out of her! She will be sorely missed. To help Sergey and Lyuda's family with her funeral expenses, as well as to express any condolences, please consider contributing to this GoFundMe campaign. Thank you.
