On May 6, 2024, thousands of Rogers/Shaw customers across north and northeast Calgary experienced major internet, phone, and TV outages caused by vandalism and damage to fibre optic infrastructure. Unfortunately, this disruption also affected many local businesses — including us at Hot Pizza & Donair.
We sincerely apologize to all of our customers who experienced difficulties reaching us, placing orders, or connecting with our services during the outage. We understand how frustrating and inconvenient this situation was, especially for customers trying to order meals for their families, lunch breaks, and evening dinners.
At Hot Pizza & Donair, we pride ourselves on serving our community with fast, reliable service and fresh food every day. While the outage was beyond our control, we know the impact was real for our loyal customers, and for that, we are truly sorry.
We would also like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and continued support throughout the disruption. Your support means everything to our small local business.
