There are only a few days left to sip your way through our four Negroni-inspired cocktails, and they’re only here until September 27.

Whether you like your cocktail botanical and refreshing, rich and indulgent, bright and citrusy, or silky and spirit-forward, there’s a $20 Negroni twist waiting for you.

🌿 EMPRESS NEGRONI
Empress Gin, Lillet Blanc and Dry Vermouth, finished with lemon zest and rosemary.

🥃 BLACK WALNUT NEGRONI
Bumbu Rum, banana liqueur, white crème de cacao, maple syrup, lemon juice and walnut bitters.

🍋 ZESTY NEGRONI
Eau Claire Gin, Campari, Limoncello and Sweet Vermouth with a lemon twist.

🍸 RUPERT’S NEGRONI SOUR
Rupert Wh***ey, Campari, Martini Rosso, fresh lemon juice and egg white, finished with Fee Foam and Angostura bitters.

Gather around the table and let us take care of Thanksgiving dinner! 🍂🦃

Join us at Thomsons on October 11 & 12 for an evening filled with seasonal flavours, comforting classics and a little elevated Thanksgiving magic.

Our three-course Thanksgiving menu begins with a Mountain Lodge Salad featuring golden beets, crispy Brussels sprouts, crumbled goat cheese, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds and a balsamic pomegranate vinaigrette.

For the main event, enjoy our Prairie Harvest Turkey Duo: slow-roasted herb turkey breast and confit turkey leg, served alongside roasted parsnips and carrots, brown butter & chili toasted Brussels sprouts, whipped confit garlic potatoes, apple stuffing, turkey gravy and cranberry-orange sauce.

And because Thanksgiving isn't complete without dessert, finish with Pumpkin & Apple Mille-Feuille, salted caramel, c***r gel and orange sorbet.

Negroni Week is here, and from September 21–27, we’re pouring four Negroni-inspired cocktails at Thomsons…each with its own unique take on the beloved classic.

🌿 EMPRESS NEGRONI
Elegant, botanical and refreshing, featuring Empress Gin, Lillet Blanc and Dry Vermouth, finished with a bright lemon zest and aromatic rosemary sprig.

🥃 BLACK WALNUT NEGRONI
A rich and indulgent twist that brings together Bumbu Rum, banana liqueur, white crème de cacao and maple syrup, balanced with fresh lemon juice and finished with walnut bitters.

A piece of Calgary’s story, in every stone 🏛️✨

If you’ve ever walked through the doors of Thomsons, you may have noticed the warm golden sandstone that frames our entrance. It’s more than beautiful architecture, it’s a connection to Calgary’s past.

After the Great Fire of 1886, Calgary began rebuilding with locally quarried sandstone, giving the city its enduring nickname: “The Sandstone City.” Our building, dating back to 1893, is a piece of that remarkable history.

Long before Thomsons welcomed guests for dinner and drinks, this space was part of Calgary’s bustling downtown: home to a bookstore, retail shops, furniture and hardware stores, and even banking services.

Today, those historic stones remain, standing alongside a modern dining experience and reminding us that some of Calgary’s best stories are built to last.

The next time you visit us, take a moment to look around…you’re dining inside a little piece of Calgary history!
