Meet Rachelle

If she wasn’t guiding others through sound healing, you’d probably find her somewhere quiet and beautiful, writing with a coffee nearby. She loves storytelling, reflection, and creating spaces where people feel inspired, connected, and understood.

Outside of work, Rachelle loves spending time outdoors with her husband, kids, and dogs — snowboarding, biking, hiking, camping, and exploring together whenever they can.

Rachelle loves teaching at Social Grounds because of the welcoming atmosphere and incredible community. Her sessions offer a grounded and approachable introduction to sound healing.

Rachelle typically offers personalized 1-on-1 sessions at her clinic in Seton, along with group experiences, workshops, and corporate wellness events across Alberta. If you have time we would recommend coming to Monday Morning Reset at Social Grounds. During the class sound and vibration from tuning forks are applied to specific points along the body to help release tension, boost circulation, and calm your mind. If you’ve never experienced tuning fork therapy before, it’s such a cool experience to try!!

Meet Bara

Bara’s go-to drink at Social Grounds is a flat white — perfect fuel for someone who admits she’s definitely not an early bird!

When she’s not teaching, she’s usually out adventuring — hiking, camping, kayaking, or snowboarding. She’s also a busy mom of two little ones, ages 8 and almost 5.

Bara loves teaching at Social Grounds because of the welcoming community atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with people in smaller groups and one-on-one settings. Her fun energy and enthusiasm make every class feel welcoming, encouraging, and full of life.

One of our favourite things about Bara is that she is always coming up with new ideas for her classes and finding ways to keep her students motivated and accountable. She has built such a loyal and supportive group of participants, and it’s been amazing watching her community grow.

You can join Bara for Strength & Sweat Tuesdays at 9:00am, Barre Fit Mondays at 6:30pm & Thursdays at 10:00am & Prenatal Core & Restore Thursdays at 9:00am.

Meet another one of the lovely faces behind our wellness community- Amber Pavey.

She’s a chai tea lover, night owl, garden enthusiast, and happiest when surrounded by fur babies, good vibes, and yummy treats. When she’s not teaching, you can find her dreaming of beaches in Maui, watching Parks and Recreation, or talking race cars and F150s — something most people wouldn’t expect!

Amber teaches out of her home studio in DeWinton and loves being part of the Social Grounds community. Her life’s theme song? “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers — and honestly, it fits perfectly.

Meet one of the lovely humans behind the magic at Social Grounds.

She’s an early bird with a decaf latte in hand—rich, creamy, and no fuss. Simple, classic, and very her.

Somehow she always has about ten pens in her bag (no explanation), is a certified sommelier 🍷, and loves travelling, good food, and soaking up new experiences. It’s the little things—kindness and a smile—that make her day.

At home, she’s kept busy by Finnigan, her giant, goofy fur baby.

You may know her from Sunday restorative, but truthfully… it was getting a little too busy to fully zen out. So we’ve made a shift. She’s now teaching Move & Melt Wednesdays at 6:30—a perfect blend of flow and deep stretch for a midweek reset.

Same cozy vibes, same wonderful human… just a better time to melt into it.

Do you have a preschool-aged kiddo? Because we might have just found their new favourite Monday thing.

Our cutest class runs Monday mornings and is led by two lovely local Oakridge mamas who genuinely love hanging with the littles. The first half hour, Lori Baher gets them creating in our DIY room then Cindy Horner takes over in the yoga studio for obstacle courses, playful yoga, and a whole lot of giggles.

It’s unparented — which means you get a whole hour to sip your coffee while it’s still hot in the café. Win-win.

Dads & ‘Dos might officially be our most fun workshop yet!!

Girl dads showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and got hands-on learning how to tackle ponytails, braids, and everything in between—on mannequins (thankfully).

Led by the incredibly talented cosmetology instructor Amy, these guys left with new skills, a whole lot of laughs, and a goodie bag to keep the practice going at home.

Safe to say… we’re doing this one again.

For this special event, we’ll transform our coffee shop into a spacious yoga studio and guide you through three signature Social Grounds wellness experiences. We’ll begin with Restorative Yoga with Tiffany Corrie to ease you into deep relaxation, next Amber Pavey will lead a guided meditation with breath work, then to close our retreat, Rachelle Pantaleon will offer a sound healing experience, helping us release what no longer serves us from winter.

We’re excited to share that music therapist Jimmy Downey BMT, MTA will be offering a music group for children ages 3 months to 3 years (with a caregiver) in our studio. We look forward to welcoming little musicians and filling the space with music and connection.

2025 was a year of growth, routines, and loads of coffee at Social Grounds. We found our groove, hosted 15 events, welcomed private rentals and birthday parties, served up thousands of drinks, and kept our community caffeinated!

We’re now running 14 classes a week in our studios and love seeing your smiling faces walk through our doors every day.
