⏭️ Nothing beats a day surrounded by the people who make this industry move — and even better when it’s with your own team. The Amihan Grill + Bakeshop crew had an amazing time at the nextfoodexpo , soaking up new ideas and celebrating what makes great food service happen. On to the next one! 🍽️

CRISPY PATA with THAT crunch?! 🤤🐷 Filipino food craving officially satisfied! 🇵🇭

We stopped by Amihan Grill + Bakeshop in Calgary for dinner, and the Crispy Pata was definitely the highlight for me. A whole deep-fried pork hock with ridiculously crispy skin, plenty of meat underneath.

The Pork Belly Sisig was another favourite. The pork belly had so many different textures, and once everything was mixed together with the rice, citrus, chilies and onions…It just worked.

Overall, I’d definitely come back to Amihan. And considering they’re also a Filipino bakeshop and we didn’t try ANY of the baked goods this time… I think a round two is already necessary. 😂
