Heather was diagnosed with cancer the end of May. Early June we learned it is Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rather rare cancer that affects mostly young children. It is a cancer of the bone and muscle. She had two tumours, one in her tail bone and the other in her hip bone. After suffering through six rounds of chemo, she was declared cancer free!! Unfortunately that only lasted a month when the beast returned. Her oncologist is trying to find a chemo that will work and in the meantime she has received some doses of radiation.
Heather loves to read all the positive comments you, her friends, old and new leave on the wall. We also post updates every few days so you can follow her journey.
