Last weekend, Fantuan brought its North America Influencer Meetup series to Chicago — following previous gatherings in 6 cities across the world.

We were honored to invite @碎嘴许美达 (Meida Xu) — a creator with over 10M+ followers across platforms — along with multiple Chicago-based content creators to exchange insights on content, food, culture, and community influence.

Tony Hu, founder of the renowned Lao Sze Chuan Restaurant Group, also joined as a merchant representative to share his experience building one of the most recognized Chinese restaurant brands in the U.S.

The event also featured the Chicago “Fantuan Must-Eat List,” celebrating standout local restaurants loved by the community.

At Fantuan, innovation isn’t just about technology — it’s about listening closely to users, empowering merchants, and creating spaces where communities connect offline and online.
