3 months down. A million lessons learned and we’re just getting started — still learning, still growing and forever grateful for every person who walked through our doors, supported us, and became part of the Mai CàPhê story along the way. Two years ago, a trip back to Vietnam gave me a new appreciation for my roots and inspired me to share Vietnamese coffee with the community I grew up in. There was never another place I wanted to do that than in the home where my family and I grew up — a place that holds so many memories and allows me to honour my dad while continuing what my parents started.

The road here wasn’t easy. Between construction delays, permits, countless hours and late nights learning and building Mai CàPhê, creating every drink and food recipe — opening our doors took far longer than I ever imagined.

Looking back at where this space started and seeing what it has become is something I’ll never take for granted. I was blessed with a family that always helped push me through, hard working parents to look up to and learn from and a contractor who believed in my vision and did everything possible to help me bring it to life.

Since opening, we’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support from this community — with over 3000 drinks sold during our first week of officially being open, I am completely speechless and beyond grateful. For that, I sincerely from the bottom of my heart thank each and every one of you. Every familiar face, every new customer, every visit, and every kind word has reminded me why I started.

We’re still learning, growing, and improving every day, and we’re so grateful for your patience as we continue finding our rhythm so we can give you the best experience possible.

Thank you for giving Mai CàPhê such an incredible start during our official grand opening week. It wasn’t perfect but we are committed to doing the best we can to serve you better. We truly couldn’t have had this amazing of a start without all of the love and support from everyone for what we’ve built. 🤎

Thank you to each and every person that came through the doors this Father’s Day weekend for our soft opening - we’re so grateful for all of you! All the love and support we received has been more than we could have ever imagined, and our hearts are so full.

This café is more than just a business — it’s a tribute to papa Mai and everything he gave to our family. His hard work, sacrifices, and dedication built the foundation for all of us.

Mai CàPhê was built with so much love, purpose, and heart. He has always been a role model to us, and his strength, resilience, and work ethic gave me the motivation to push through and bring this dream to life.

Mai CàPhê is our way of honouring everything he built and continuing his legacy.
