Creating Opportunities, Building Community

We were happy to welcome our friends from & County Immigration Services to Shawarma County and receive this beautiful certificate of appreciation and flowers.

Through the BCIS Work Placement Program, we had the opportunity to welcome two participants to our team, provide valuable workplace experience, and support their journey into employment. We’re especially proud that we were able to offer full-time positions after the program.

A big thank you to BCIS for the important work you do in preparing people for employment and helping uplift our community.

A Proud Moment for the Shawarma County Family!

Today, we’re celebrating Dil and an incredible milestone in her journey!

While working with us at Shawarma County, Dil completed her studies at Hat College and has now started her career as an LPN with Alberta Health Services

Dil was a truly valuable part of our team—hardworking, punctual, committed, and always ready to contribute. Her ideas and input were especially valuable to our Production and R&D teams, including her contribution to creating our Bombers Bite.

She also played an important role in helping us bring the Shawarma County vision to life, and we are grateful for everything she contributed during her time with us.

We are incredibly proud to see her take this next step. From being part of our restaurant family to beginning her career as an LPN—this is exactly the kind of growth we love to see in our team members.
