Today's the day, and we're SO excited! It's time for Applefest! 🍎
We want to let everyone know we will have a limited menu today. Only our Applefest menu will be available today, and we will not be serving up our usual sandwich menu. If you're looking for any coffee, tea, or non-apple-flavoured soups or sandwiches, we encourage you to check out some of the wonderful vendors that are in town for the street fair! Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to you trying the super-tasty specials we have available today!
Please note specials are available as supplies last, and we will not be open tomorrow, so make sure to catch the special that's catching your eye while you're out and about today!

Don't forget, we'll be open an hour early today for Applefest! The Tin Roof will be open 10 am - 9 pm today.

It’s September 1st, which in Brighton means one thing: it’s almost time for Applefest! We’re so excited, we’ve decided to start a weekly sneak peek of the extra special menu we’ll have available for the day!🍎

We're starting this extra tasty apple series off with a soup that's available NOW! Available now for a limited time at The Tin Roof, Butternut Squash and Apple Soup! It's the perfect soup to start your September soup season with. Come and get a bite of this tasty soup now so you can brag to your family about how good it is during Applefest weekend! It’s a delicious pairing to our signature Mushroom Swiss sandwich, as pictured above!

It might be almost time to go back to school, but we’re holding onto summer here at The Tin Roof! New for the remainder of our season: Real-Fruit Lemonade! Try our extra-delicious homemade lemonade in one of four fruity flavours! Real-Fruit Lemonade is available with strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and peach syrups. Our lemonade and fruit syrups are always made in the shop out of real fruit! Even better, our Real-Fruit Lemonades are available at no extra cost! Which flavour do you want to try? 🍋🫐🍑🍓

PS: Our limited-time fruit sauces are also available on our ice creams. We think they’re extra delicious on a cheesecake parfait, and we’re excited to see what tasty combinations you come up with! 🍨

It’s back-to-school season, and we’ve got a wonderful 100% FREE event going on to celebrate! It’s time for a clothing giveaway at the Home Rainbow Youth Centre!
All clothing is free to take, with the understanding that you’re sharing with others. Clothing will be available free of charge in a range of sizes for youth ages 12-21.
There’s no need to bring any clothing to exchange! This event exists to ensure every kid gets outfitted for school in whatever feels best for them, at absolutely no cost! Some school supplies will also be available.

Is there a better way to cool down and celebrate the summer while it lasts than with an ice cream cake? We don’t think so! Whether it's to celebrate a birthday, achievement, or just because, an ice cream cake from The Tin Roof is the perfect treat to accompany a warm summer night!

Ice cream cakes are available in 6-inch (feeds 8 for $25), 8-inch (feeds 12 for $35), or 9-inch (feeds 15 for $40) sizes; prices do not include taxes. Ice cream cakes can have up to two flavours of Kawartha Dairy ice cream that we have in stock, with the standard flavours being chocolate and vanilla. You can stop by, call or message the shop for an updated list of flavours. We offer a filling of cookie fudge, Skor fudge, or strawberry cheesecake for the ice cream cakes. Don’t forget to let us know if you’d like anything written on the cake or any designs.
Please note we need a minimum of 24 hours' notice for ice cream cakes, with pickup time at 1:30pm or later on your pickup day.
