After one heck of a summer, Chef Riley is finally getting a very deserved weekend off! Between keeping our ovens fired up and keeping everyone fed, Riley has made over 1,500 pizzas this summer. That’s not counting the many other shareable we have on the menu.

Riley, we hope you get a chance to kick back, relax, and enjoy some well-earned time with friends and family.

But don’t worry — the kitchen is still open all weekend. We’ve got the wonderful Guest Chef Tammy stepping in to keep things rolling.

We just ask for a little patience this weekend. Things may take a little longer than usual, especially when we’re busy. Tammy had some big shoes to fill, so grab a beer, relax, and let her work her magic.

Thank you for your patience this week. We look forward to seeing you!

Many of you have requested that we bring back the Gluten-Free IPA. We’ve been listening and are happy to announce that it’s back! Whether you’re looking to try something different, prefer beer without gluten, or a camper gal named Denise hoping to sip on something under the northern sky, we’ve got you covered!

Our Gluten-Free IPA is made with Sorghum Extract, Candi Syrup, and Buckwheat Honey. It’s dry hopped with Mosaic hops. We make this beer in small batches and it is only available by the can, while supplies last.

We are excited to announce the launch of a new summer special: Buffalo Chicken Pizza

We start with our freshly made house dough, throw down a bed of marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella. Add to that a generous amount of roasted chicken breast! Before it goes in the oven, we sprinkle on some diced Roma tomatoes, red peppers and red onions. Baked until crispy and garnished with some fresh green onions and a drizzle of buffalo ranch sauce.

It’s just enough heat to make you go “oooh, that’s nice!”

Now let’s spice things up a little more!

Tag your pizza buddy and on Friday we’ll be picking a lucky winner to try this pizza on the house!

Steel Wheel Brewery is looking for a motivated Wedding & Special Events Coordinator to help grow our weddings, private parties, corporate events and special occasions.

This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule and commission-based earning potential. You’ll work with clients from the initial inquiry through booking and event coordination.

Responsibilities include:

* Responding to event and wedding inquiries
* Conducting venue tours
* Creating event packages and quotes
* Coordinating with couples, clients and vendors
* Helping organize weddings, corporate events and private parties
* Supporting event setup and day-of coordination
* Building relationships with local businesses and wedding professionals
* Helping generate new event bookings

Ideal candidate:
Someone outgoing, organized, professional and comfortable selling. Previous wedding, hospitality, event-planning or sales experience is an asset.

Compensation:
Flexible hybrid arrangement with commission on bookings, creating strong earning potential for someone who can generate business and deliver an excellent client experience.
